In our third semester at university, we were assigned to create a fictitious bicycle brand and to design the corporate identity, including a product // image brochure. I named my BMX brand „Flair“ (a BMX trick) and assigned it the claim „Do You Dare?“. It is supposed to encourage the cyclist to grab his bike and go outside and make unique BMX memories.
BMX activities usually take place in rough, urban environments or on dirty paths, so I chose to give the brand an overall rough look and feel. Furthermore, natural design elements appear in the brochure to illustrate the encouragement to go outside and just enjoying the time on your bike.
